Since 1988, Jidda Divyang Mulanchi Shala, an initiative of KOWYAS, has been empowering children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in Chiplun. Through Early Intervention (0–6 years), Special Education (7–18 years), and vocational training at Jaydeep Mone Udyog Kendra (18+ years), we support every stage of a child's journey by providing education, life skills, therapeutic support, confidence, and opportunities to lead meaningful, independent, and dignified lives.
We provide quality education, vocational training, therapy support, and holistic development opportunities for children with intellectual disabilities.

Konkan Women, Youth and Students Development Central Society (KOWYAS), Chiplun, was established in 1982 under the inspiration of Mrs. Sumati Jambhekar.
Initially limited to Chiplun, the organization's area of work gradually expanded across the entire Konkan region. With the guidance of dedicated social workers and educators, KOWYAS has continuously worked for the educational, social, sports, family, physical, and mental development of youth, women, students, and persons with special needs.
